The Blackberry has been known for some time as the business mobile phone and have not proved as popular in the UK as they have been in the US. However, attitudes are starting to change and individuals are finally seeing the Blackberry for what it is - a fantastic, feature packed mobile phone that can be used by anyone! If ever there was a handset to back this up then the Blackberry Bold is it. A smartphone like this model is definitely welcome in the marketplace, but can it really challenge the iPhone for the ultimate touch screen phone title?
Alongside the comparison to the iPhone, the Blackberry Bold has been referred to as the ultimate Blackberry and an initial inspection of the interface and features list would indeed confirm that. The Blackberry Bold has certainly been created to appeal to those mobile phone users that would normally tap into the mainstream Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Nokia market. As such, it has moved away from previous Blackberry phones well.
The Blackberry Bold is extremely stylish and would appeal to those looking for a phone for business or pleasure. It has a range of features available but does not make the cardinal mistake that other handsets do. It looks good as well as working in a functional and fluid way. The QWERTY keypad is particularly brilliant given that it is well spaced and easy to use. The buttons are large and really responsive so mis-keying is rare. The handset is well designed with gorgeous chrome edging and is easy to grip so you can enjoy your texting and browsing experience.
There are some lovely touches on the Blackberry Bold, including the keylock that comes as part of the package. The Blackberry case that comes with the handset will set off the magnetic based lock when you place the phone in it, thus saving the battery power by shutting off the screen and the buttons. There is also a wide range of connectivity options, including USB, WiFi, GPS and bluetooth. It incorporates 3G and HSDPA for the first time in a Blackberry handset and both work extremely well.
The web browser should also be right at the top of the list in terms of the lovely features present. Blackberry has always focused on the email access aspect of their handsets and the Blackberry Bold is no exception. As always, the email access is fantastic with plenty of options to choose from. Although browsing the Internet has always been a bone of contention, that is not the case here because the browser is fantastic. It is easy to use and gives you the same experience that you would have on a PC.
There are some slight niggles, like the 2MP camera. It is not as powerful as many would expect but you would never get the Blackberry Bold for the camera as it has never been a Blackberry strong point. There are also some questions over the lack of third party application support available.
Despite the few problems there are with the Blackberry Bold, it is a good handset that most definitely moves the Blackberry alongside its competitors. Although not as desirable as the iPhone, it certainly provides it with a challenge and so is well worth looking at.
Whether you're in business or not, it is always a nice idea to get affordable mobilephone contract deals than buying on the high street shops. Even http://emobilephonedeals.co.uk/t-mobile T-mobile free line rental offers are still good when compare it to deals found on the high streets.
NOV 19 - From being Umno lackeys and yes-men to condoning abuses of power and corruption, we already know the inability of Gerakan leaders to move Penang forward.
That is why, these lackeys were booted out in the last general election.
DAP and its top leader Lim Guan Eng achieved landslide victories despite not coming to Penang seeking to overthrow the BN state government. The party only offered to become an effective and substantial opposition.
Voters in Penang took the leap of faith but not without great expectations. It is fair to argue that they voted out BN but not really voted in the DAP/PR. At 4pm on election day, a few top DAP leaders were still not sure of doing well at the state level.
